Capital Area United Way Responds to Hurricane Ida

 
Baton Rouge, La. (August 30, 2021) – Capital Area United Way continues to be here for the community before, during and after natural disasters. In response to Hurricane Ida, CAUW will be accepting donations to support the immediate and long-term needs of the response and recovery in our 10-Parish service area. 
 
To make an online donation visit www.cauw.org/disaster. You can also mail donations to Capital Area United Way, Attn: Hurricane Ida Relief Fund, 700 Laurel Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802 or text Ida2021 to 313131.  
 
“Capital Area United Way’s commitment to the community is ever more important before, during and after disasters,” said George Bell, President and CEO of Capital Area United Way. “We will continue to work with our partner and government agencies as we move into recovery and relief efforts throughout our 10-Parish service area.”
